Serving the Communities of Hoyt Lakes and Aurora, Minnesota
In 2014 the City's of Hoyt Lakes and Aurora combined police services to form the East Range Public Safety Board/East Range Police Department (ERPD). On January 1, 2015 the ERPD began providing public safety services for both communities and consists of seven (7) sworn, full time officers serving a total population of over 3,700.

If you would like a patrol car to come to your location, even if it's not an emergency call 911.
All calls/reports must be made through 911 for efficient dispatching and tracking of squads. Immediately tell the 911 operator if it's not an emergency; this includes parking and noise problems.
Do not email emergencies or crimes to the ERPD. Email is not monitored 24/7.
