A Peddler, Solicitor & Transient Merchant permit is required for each individual who may go from home to home, on City streets or sidewalks, or other public places to solicit orders for goods. Applications must be obtained at the City Clerk's Office and are approved through the East Range Police Department. |

Fee Schedule: $5.00 per day $50.00 per year |

Peddlers, Solicitors and Transient Merchants will be given a copy of their signed, approved permit. This permit must be available to show residents who ask to see it for verification. If a solicitor approaches your home and is unable to provide this proof, call the East Range Police Department dispatch non-emergency at (218) 742-9825 as they are an unapproved solicitor. The City does not recommend or endorse any product or service of peddlers, solicitors or transient merchants it licenses. |
